Interested in selling your aircraft?
When you make the decision to list your aircraft for sale with R. White & Associates, we work hard to find a buyer that is looking for your specific aircraft type and specifications. Often, we are in an immediate need of aircraft for another client or client within our sales network, and can help you sell your aircraft quickly. We are always seeking aircraft for sale; please contact us immediately if you are interested in selling your aircraft. You can also browse the FAQ's below for answers to the most common questions our clients have had in the past when placing their aircraft for sale.

Interested in finding a specific aircraft?
We find aircraft for our clients on a case by case basis. Please visit the Aircraft Acquisitions portion of the website to learn about our acquisition process and how we can find the aircraft for your needs. We are not a listing directory as we offer a custom service to ascertain your exact needs and find as close a match as possible based on your requirements, timeframe and finances. From time to time we will list specific aircraft here on our site, however many times we already have specific clients in mind that require aircraft and thus do not list them publicly.

Frequently Asked Questions of clients wishing to sell their aircraft :

Question: How much do you charge to place my aircraft for sale?
Answer: It varies, but we are usually on par with or less than other dealers. However we provided a more customer service oriented process that doesn't make you feel like you visited a discount service, whereas profits are lower but volume is the key and customer service is lacking or none existent. Our repeat business is what places us in stride as a profitable company. Our clients are refreshed at our approach, and recommend us and come back when they are personally in need for future ventures. We spend time with our clients, ensure they understand the process and what they are getting in return for their costs.

Question: How long will it take to sell my aircraft?
Answer: We often have an immediate need for aircraft. Either for direct clients or for clients in our trusted dealer network. We work hard to ensure we work within your timeframe and always attempt to provide the results the client wishes for us to achieve. As you may know already, some aircraft are more in demand than others. This predicates much of how long it takes to sell an aircraft, however with our vast network, you will be surprised how often we can fulfil the need of another with your aircraft quickly.

Question: What happens after I decide to place my aircraft for sale with R. White & Associates?
Answer: The process, in general, is as follows. 1. The owner or legal party signs a sales agreement with R. White & Associates. 2. A fair market value is placed on the aircraft, or a set amount or range initially agreed on. 3. The aircraft for sale is advertised throughout our internal network, if needed, through other resources and venues. 4. As bids come in, we qualify the potentials as we filter realistic offers from the possibly countless "feeler" offers. 5. Once a bid has been accepted, we select a deposit from the buyer. 6. An escrow account is then setup for buyer and seller with our title search company. 6. We then assist with FAA and cape town treaty paperwork. 7. We represent the seller during the pre purchase inspection that most buyers insist on. 8. We negotiate any discrepancies after the inspection. 9. We can also assist in the financing of the aircraft for the buyer. 10. We work to ensure the closing with the title search company transpires smoothly.

Question: Will you help me sell my aircraft and acquire a different one?
Answer: Yes. Our clients require an aircraft that is efficient to their operation. Companies grow or downsize all the time. Their flight department often needs to adjust according. We are here to help with this transition. There are several options available through this process. These included but ARE NOT limited to. 1. acquiring a new aircraft then selling your old 2. selling your old aircraft then acquiring the new. 3. working to acquire and sell the aircrafts in a time table that overlaps as close as possible. We can also help you find flight training for your pilots on your new aircraft.

Question: I'm seeking an particularly hard to find aircraft or rare aircraft, and can't seem to find what I want. Additionally, dealers want to charge me a finder's fee prior to finding the aircraft regardless if they find it or not. Do you charge a finder's fee prior to finding me an aircraft?
Answer: No. We are honest with our clients and try to give a realistic idea as to what to expect, and do not charge unless we provide an actual service. If you need extended consulting we usually recommend an hourly or packaged consulting fee. However many of our clients know exactly what they need and thus, we will not charge until we actually provide a service, or in this case, find the aircraft you are looking for. If the aircraft you are seeking is extremely rare, we will keep you in a database and alert you when one becomes available.

Question: I am interested in discretion regarding the sale of my aircraft and wish for our aircraft to be privately and discretely sold. Are you still able to work with us?
Answer: Absolutely. For multiple business reasons, many of our clients have very good reasons for this and we completely understand the necessity to work in a discretionary manner.
